About Bubble Shooter
Bubble Shooter is about as stripped-down as puzzle games get: a wall of colored bubbles, a shooter at the bottom, and one rule. Land three or more of the same color together and they pop. What keeps it from getting boring is the chain reaction. Pop the bubbles holding up a big cluster and everything above them that isn’t attached to anything else falls away too, so one well-placed shot can clear a quarter of the board.
The miss counter is the real pressure valve. Every shot that doesn’t pop anything ticks it down, and once it runs out a fresh row drops in from the top and pushes the whole stack toward the bottom of the field. That’s what turns a relaxed color-matching game into something with an actual clock running on it.

Origin
The bubble-shooter format goes back to Taito’s arcade title Puzzle Bobble. Absolutist’s 2002 Flash release is what turned it into the browser game most people actually mean when they say “Bubble Shooter.” The version here is a modern HTML5 build of that same core design, so the shooting, matching, and miss-counter rules are the same ones that made the format popular in the first place.

Tips & Tricks
Don’t aim for the closest match. Aim for the shot that drops the most bubbles. A cluster of ten hanging off a three-bubble match is worth far more than three bubbles popped on their own, and it’s usually one or two shots away rather than obviously available.
Bank shots off the side walls open up angles a straight shot can’t reach, especially late in a round when the color you need is tucked behind a wall of a different color. And don’t ignore the field edges when the stack gets low. A shot fired too close to the bottom can miss everything and cost you a miss you didn’t need to take.
