Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This page explains what ScrandleGames ("we", "us") collects when you visit the site, and how it's used. We keep this deliberately short because we don't collect much: there are no user accounts, no forms that ask for personal details, and nothing you need to sign away to play a game.
Information we collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data for every request โ IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security and to understand traffic, and isn't tied to a name or account, because we don't have accounts.
The site's search box works by fetching a static list of games to your browser and filtering it locally โ nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
Cookies and local storage
We don't currently set our own tracking cookies. If that changes โ for example, if we start showing ads through a network like Google AdSense โ this policy will be updated first, and that section will list exactly what's used and how to opt out.
Embedded games
Many games on ScrandleGames are embedded from their original developers or publishers (some hosted on our own servers, others loaded from the developer's own domain). Once a game loads, it can set its own cookies, use its own local storage, or load its own analytics โ that's controlled by the game's developer, not by us, and is covered by their privacy policy rather than this one. We link to the source for each embedded game so you know who built it.
Advertising
We may use third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense, to help support the cost of running the site. These services can use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, or generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page.
Children's privacy
ScrandleGames is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters โ new tracking, new ad partners, new data collection โ we'll update the date at the top of this page.
